Carlow households are invited to take part in free local e waste and battery recycling days this May, hosted by WEEE Ireland in partnership with Carlow County Council. Residents can recycle any item with a plug, battery, or cable – from large appliances and electronics to batteries of all sizes – safely and free of charge. The initiative makes it easy to clear out unused electrical items locally while supporting Carlow’s strong record in sustainable recycling and helping recover valuable materials for reuse.

Tenders are invited for the sale of one (1 no.) multi‑wheel rubber‑tyred roller. The roller is offered for sale as is and prospective tenderers are advised that the machine has known mechanical issues and is no longer operational. No warranty, expressed or implied, is given by the Council.
