Fire Safety Week 12th October – 18th October Theme: “Know your Room, Know the Risk, Know the Person”

Fire Safety Week

12th October – 18th October

Theme: “Know your Room, Know the Risk, Know the Person”

This year’s theme is about empowering people in the community to look after themselves and others.

This Fire Safety Week, “Know Your Room, Know the Risk, Know the Person” highlights the importance of understanding the fire hazards that may exist in the spaces we use every day.

By regularly doing routine fire safety checks, following the STOP Fire steps, and by encouraging others to do the same, we can raise awareness of fire safety and safeguard our homes and our communities. Once a fire starts, it can be relentless, so it’s crucial to do everything possible to prevent one. Carlow County Fire and Rescue Service are raising awareness of fire safety and safeguard our homes and our communities by opening the stations on the following days.
