Carlow was filled with magic, music, and Christmas cheer this weekend as Santa Claus made a special appearance to formally launch Féile Lonrach – Festival of Glow 2025. Families from every corner of Carlow came together to witness the beginning of a season dedicated to light, togetherness, and the spirit of community.

A delegation lead by Carlow County Council  joined European partners in Perugia, Umbria from recently for the final exchange meeting of the InnoCom programme under the Interreg Europe initiative. The mission gathered 48 delegates from Ireland, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, France, and Ukraine. This lunchtime event brings the Powerhouse network together for connection, learning, and celebration.

Running from 29th November to 24th December 2025, Féile Lonrach promises a sparkling programme of family entertainment, festive markets, live performances, comedy, creative experiences, and community celebrations across the county.

Get ready to laugh your way into Christmas as Carlow Comedy Festival 2025 takes centre stage this December as part of Féile Lonrach – Festival of Glow. Running from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th December, the festival brings together some of Ireland’s top comedic talent across Carlow’s favourite venues all in support of the upcoming Pan Celtic International Festival 2026.

Digital 26, a landmark event celebrating innovation in Ireland’s craft and creative industries, will take place on Thursday, 13th November 2025, at The Foundry, Google Offices, Dublin.
