Phase one of a revolutionary €8million regional innovation and enterprise hub was launched last night in Carlow called Catalyst HQ. The Catalyst HQ project will provide a comprehensive, integrated support environment for manufacturing, export-focused enterprises and technology-driven businesses.

A Renault HGV combined Hi-AB & Prime Mover, fuelled by HVO which is replacing two ageing vehicles, a 1993 Heavy Diesel Prime Mover HGV and a 1997 Heavy Diesel Hi-Ab Flatbed HGV. This new combined vehicle will be used to carry and transport the south-eastern regional Major Emergency Management Pod serving Counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford. 

Primary schools across County Carlow have once again shown outstanding imagination and creativity as part of the annual Right to Read Short Story Competition. South East Technological University (SETU), in collaboration with Carlow County Council, welcomes the announcement of €142,500 funding for a new Bystander Intervention Training Project, to be rolled out in schools across Carlow town and county.
