The Key aim of this open call is to encourage communities who have never applied for funding before from Creative Ireland or Carlow Arts office. Carlow County Fire & Rescue Service Score a Hatrick in ISO Standards

Carlow County Fire & Rescue Service have become the first Fire Authority in Ireland to achieve accreditation to ISO 14001 and have now become the first and only Fire Authority in the country to attain three ISO standards in 45001 Health & Safety, 9001 Quality and the recent addition of 14001 Environmental Waste Management.

Forward Steps Family Resource Centre was alive with fun and laughter as children from 'Little Steps' marked the official launch of Cruinniú na nÓg Carlow 2026. 'Little Steps' are currently taking part in a workshop, as part of the Cruinniú na nÓg 2026 programme, led by the wonderfully talented Little Gem Puppets, giving young participants the chance to explore puppetry, storytelling, and hands on making.
