The excitement is building as the top 10 videos have been selected for the highly anticipated Online Busking Competition on YouTube as part of Streetfest. This event, part of the vibrant Streetfest programme has captured the hearts of our community and beyond with so much talent coming on the street during the pilot project. Now, it’s up to the public to decide the winner by viewing and liking their favourite performances until the competition closes on August 16th at midnight.

Carlow County Council, in association with Sonix Entertainment Ltd, is thrilled to announce the Carlow Carnival, set to take place from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2024 at The Exchange in Potato Market, Carlow Town Centre. This family-friendly event promises to bring joy and excitement to children aged 3-10, offering a delightful array of games and rides including the Carousel, Chairoplane and Tea Cup Ride, various games such as smash a can fun fair stall and Jenga and face painting.

The third annual Powerhouse Picnic, organised by Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office in collaboration with Network Ireland Carlow, was held at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel, Carlow with TV Presenter Lucy Kennedy as Master of Ceremonies. Irish stakeholders from Carlow County Council and South East Technological University (SETU) attended the 3rd Stakeholders Group Meeting, held on June 18-19, 2024, in Bucharest. This meeting marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration among project partners and regional and interregional stakeholders. The event, hosted by the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency (ADRBI), brought together key players from various sectors to discuss and promote innovative solutions for enhancing SME competitiveness and sustainable development.
