Karl Spain launches Jinglefest Comedy Shows at The Barracks as tickets go on sale for a weekend packed with laughter, live entertainment and fundraising events.

Comedy fans across Carlow and beyond are being encouraged to book early as Jinglefest Comedy Shows 2026 officially launches a packed programme of performances taking place from 3rd to 6th December 2026 as part of Jinglefest, Carlow's Christmas Festival.

Carlow County Council, in partnership with Laois County Council and the Department of Transport (DoT), invite those who live in, work in or travel through the study area along the southern edge of Carlow Town and any other interested parties to participate in the third non-statutory public consultation for the Carlow Southern Relief Road (CSRR).

New name, new venues and new acts to be revealed at official festival launch on Monday, 12th October

Carlow Comedy Festival is back from Thursday, 3rd to Sunday, 6th December 2026, and this year the festival is getting a major makeover with a new name, new venues, new acts and an expanded countywide programme.

Folklore, fire, live music, theatre, film and free family experiences will transform VISUAL this October.
This Samhain, VISUAL Carlow becomes a threshold between our world and the Otherworld, with a packed programme of music, theatre, storytelling, spectacle, cinema and family events taking place from Thursday 22 October to Sunday 1 November 2026.
