Carlow SME owners and their employees are invited to an inspirational breakfast seminar with Enda O’Doherty in Carlow College as part of Carlow Business Day on 9th October 2024. This breakfast promises to be more than just a networking opportunity; it is a chance to engage with profound ideas and life lessons from the renowned motivational speaker and mental health advocate, Enda O’Doherty. 

Carlow County Council, in association with Sonix Entertainment Ltd, is thrilled to announce the Carlow Carnival, set to take place from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2024 at The Exchange in Potato Market, Carlow Town Centre. This family-friendly event promises to bring joy and excitement to children aged 3-10, offering a delightful array of games and rides including the Carousel, Chairoplane and Tea Cup Ride, various games such as smash a can fun fair stall and Jenga and face painting.

Get ready for an electrifying and unforgettable weekend as Carlow County Council, backed by local businesses and stakeholders, proudly announces the grand finale of the Tullow Street Streetfest Programme! This vibrant event promises a dazzling array of activities and entertainment for all ages, making it the perfect outing for families, friends, and neighbours alike. As a pilot project for the pedestrianisation of Lower Tullow Street, Streetfest has been enhancing the shopping experience and creating an extraordinary atmosphere since April 5, 2024.

The Minister for Rural and Community Development has approved an allocation of €30,000 to complete a Town Centre First Plan for Muinebheag, Co. Carlow.  Town Centre First aims to create town centres that function as viable, vibrant and attractive locations for people to live, work and visit, while also functioning as the service, social, cultural and recreational hub for the local community.

McGrath Hall on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 between 4.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.

The Irish Film premier of QUINTESSENTIALLY IRISH – will take place on 21st April 2024 at 7.30 pm – in VISUAL Carlow, preceded by Wine & Whiskey Reception .
