Advertising Signage Licence

You must apply to a local authority for a licence if you want to erect permanent or temporary advertising signs and structures about your business on public roads.

When does this need planning permission?

Certain smaller advertisements and signs are classed as exempted developments. Careful consultation of the 2001 Regulations, as amended, is strongly advised.
