Carlow County Council will be using a new feature on the MapAlerter system called Storm Day across the next few days as Storm Austen impacts County Carlow. This new system provides live updates and alerts to the public of storm related issues, such as flooding alerts and trees down alerts within the county.
The system will feature a live dashboard which can be viewed at:
MapAlerter Storm Day (Public) - MapAlerter.ie
Members of the public can also sign up to receive alerts which may affect their local area.
If you are already signed up to the MapAlerter system for alerts you are all ready set up to
receive these alerts. For those who aren’t already signed up to MapAlerter, please go to www.mapalerter.ie or download the MapAlerter app from Google Play Store or Apple Store and register for free to get localised alerts for your area.
