Showcase Ireland’s Creative Expo® returns to the RDS, Dublin from 18th to 20th January 2026, bringing together Ireland’s most innovative and creative brands for one of the country’s largest international trade shows. The event attracts buyers from over 20 countries and more than 2,760 retailers, including buyers from Ireland, the UK, USA, Mainland Europe and the Far East.
Presented on behalf of the Design & Crafts Council Ireland, with the support of Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Offices nationwide, Showcase is the foremost destination for discovering unique, design-led fashion, knitwear, jewellery, homewares, gifts and crafts. With a 51-year legacy, the expo hosts over 450 exhibitors, including established Irish designers, manufacturers and promising emerging brands.
Speaking ahead of Showcase 2026, Cllr. Fergal Browne, Cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council, said, “Events like Showcase are not only an incredible platform for Irish craft and design businesses, but they are also a reflection of the strength and innovation that exists in the sector today. For our local makers in County Carlow, this is a powerful opportunity to step onto the international stage, to tell their story through craft, and to build real commercial relationships that can shape their future. The calibre of buyers attending Showcase means the exposure is unrivalled, and we are proud to support our creative businesses in leveraging that potential.”
Kieran Comerford, Head of Economic Development & Enterprise, Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office, outlined the importance of the opportunity, “Showcase has evolved into the premier event for the creative industries in Ireland and is now a key strategic opportunity for craft, gift and design businesses looking to scale their operations. It’s not just about selling at the show, it’s about positioning, branding, and creating long-term buyer relationships. Through mentoring and support, we help businesses prepare to meet the expectations of the wholesale market and deliver confidently. For many of our participants, Showcase has been a springboard to new markets, long-term growth, and even export success. It’s a game-changer for businesses ready to move to the next level.”
The Local Enterprise Showcase 2026, located in Hall 3, The Serpentine Hall and renamed the Local Enterprise Hall, offers a unique opportunity for small Irish craft and design businesses to engage with international buyers, press, and retailers.
