Library Clubs

Public libraries may run or host clubs such as homework clubs, Lego clubs, knitting, sewing and gardening clubs where children and adults can learn about different subjects, develop new skills and meet people.

Storytime at Carlow Central Library
Come along to Carlow Central Library every Wednesday morning at 10am for 30 minutes of stories and song for children aged 0-5 years and their parents. No booking required.

Adult Book Club in Carlow Central Library
Carlow Library Book Club meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:15pm. This book club is currently full but if you would like to put your name on the waiting list for this club or a possible second book club please email library@carlowcoco.ie with your contact phone number and expression of interest.

Dyslexia Book Club at Muinebheag Library
Bagenalstown Library holds a Dyslexia Book Club on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 3.30 - 4.30pm aimed at 8 - 12 year olds. A relaxed Book Club for children finding it hard to read.  For more information contact nbrennan@carlowcoco.ie 

Adult Book Club at Tullow Library
We have an adult book club in Tullow Library that meet once a month, at the moment it is full but please email library@carlowcoco.ie if you are interested in joining a Book Club. We would like to start book clubs in our other branch libraries.

Teen Book Club at Tullow Library
We are currently looking for interest in a Teen Book Club (12-14 years) the first meeting is on Monday 30th January @ 4.15pm. If you are interested in joining please email: library@carlowcoco.ie and give your details.

Sensory Toys
There are a selection of sensory toys available to play with in Tullow library. Please enquire at the desk.
