Heritage Reports

Local authorities may provide reports and information on heritage to government departments and other agencies.

The Heritage Office strives to make all funded research projects/audits and baseline surveys available to the relevant government departments and interested members of the public. The Heritage Office intends to make such reports available for consultation through the Heritage page of Carlow County Council’s website. The reports are also archived in paper format by Carlow County Archivist and digitally through Carlow County Library.

It is a policy of Carlow Heritage office that all data collected by community groups is utilised where possible in national datasets, e.g Biodiversity to the National Biodiversity Data Centre A Heritage Council Programme, Documenting Ireland's Wildlife (biodiversityireland.ie)
