Artist's Grant Scheme

Local authorities may provide financial support to emerging artists to create works across all art forms including music, dance, film, literature, theatre and performance.

Carlow County Council Arts Service provides financial support to artists in order to nurture and sustain artistic practice and processes.  As well as for longer-term arts development that engages audiences and public discourse in new ways.

Artists grants are available to all artistic disciplines including, artists, musicians, performers, theatre makers, filmmakers, writers, socially engaged artists, creatives, storytellers, artists that work across a number of contexts and practices, artists that work in a multidisciplinary way.  This is not an exclusive list of artistic practices, and all Artists Grants are available to all persons.
