Gordon Bennett Classic Road Run

This four-day event and fun run takes place over the June Bank Holiday covering the counties of Laois, Carlow and Kildare, all three of which were chosen for the original 1903 race. This historic route offers visitors many interesting and scenic locations in the region, while celebrating and discovering, “The Race that saved Motor Sport”.

As a pilot project for the pedestrianisation of Lower Tullow Street, Streetfest has been enhancing the shopping experience and creating an extraordinary atmosphere since April 5, 2024.

With gardens in full bloom and with the majority of gardening work completed, the festival is the ideal time to relax, admire the work of others and make gardening plans for the coming months and year ahead.

3 Men with Poster Point at Carnival

Carlow County Council, in association with Sonix Entertainment Ltd, is thrilled to announce the Carlow Carnival, set to take place from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2024 at The Exchange in Potato Market, Carlow Town Centre. This family-friendly event promises to bring joy and excitement to children aged 3-10, offering a delightful array of games and rides including the Carousel, Chairoplane and Tea Cup Ride, various games such as smash a can fun fair stall and Jenga and face painting.
