The Environment Department of Carlow County Council is delighted to announce the launch of Series 2 of Eco Chats: Carlow’s Eco Journey, an engaging podcast series that celebrates the people, projects and initiatives helping to build a more sustainable County Carlow.
Supported through funding from Creative Ireland Carlow and the Carlow Arts Office, the new series will feature eight weekly episodes, released every Thursday, exploring the stories, ideas and actions making a real difference for sustainability, biodiversity, climate action and community wellbeing across the county.
Hosted by Conor Reed of HeadStuff Podcasts, Eco Chats shines a light on the many individuals, community groups and organisations whose efforts are helping to create positive environmental change at a local level. Over the coming weeks, listeners will hear from community gardeners, creative practitioners, schools, transport providers, energy advisors, community hubs and sustainability champions who are demonstrating that climate action starts close to home.
