Carlow Conversations – Etched in Stone is a creative workshop with artist Máiréad Holohan developed by Carlow County Council Heritage Office, as part of Cultúr 2026, celebrating Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Participants can experiment with a range of materials (plant inks, drawing, collage, charcoal etc.) to create their own unique and individual artwork. Themes will be based on the spectacular rock art motifs of Mount Leinster, allowing for ideas of time, messages from the past, and possible visual notes to the future to be incorporated into this celebratory art session.
