Library membership is free in Ireland and you can join at any age. There are a wide range of services in libraries and online.
There are four public libraries in County Carlow - Carlow Town, Tullow, Bagenalstown and Borris.

Museum
Carlow County Museum is located in Carlow and has a collection of items and artefacts from across the County. Admission is free and it is open 6 days a week. To find out more about the local history and current exhibitions, see Carlow Museum
