Carlow County Council were delighted to host a Voter Registration event to coincide with the National Voter Registration Day on Wednesday 30th April 2025. The event took place in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre. At the event Carlow County Council members of staff were available to assist people to update details on checktheregister or register for the first time.
Cllr Fergal Browne, Cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council emphasised that the People of Carlow are being encouraged to verify their eligibility to vote, check the register and learn more about their voting rights. Your vote is your voice.
Fiona Byrne, Senior Executive Officer of Carlow County Council said this is the first of a number of events that Carlow County Council will host over the coming months.
