Carlow County Council, together with other agencies, support community and voluntary groups to showcase initiatives that have created a long lasting impact in their community through the Annual Competition of Carlow's Pride of Place that judges various categories such as community involvement, place attractiveness and colour, protection of wildlife and flora, biodiveristy etc.
