The Emergency Call centre opened at midnight last night and will operate until 17.00pm Friday 24th.

Low number of calls.

Currently 17 reported fallen trees.

Council outdoor crews commenced mobilising @ 12.00am Friday and expect to deal with all reported issues this afternoon.

X1 single vehicle RTA in Ballon overnight, No reported injury.

Normal Out of Ours service will resume from 17.00pm Friday.

Council Libraries, Parks, Ducketts Grove, Powerstown Civic Amenity Site and Kernanstown Recycling Centre will all reopen on Saturday as normal. 

Oak Park will remain closed for the weekend as there are several large fallen trees in the park.

Circa 4,000 power outages throughout County Carlow overnight, ESB crews attending with 1,000 outages currently restored in Graiguecullen, Ballinabrannagh and Old Leighlin areas.

Main outstanding 3,000 outages are in the Tullow, Kildavin and Nurney areas.
