How does the Scheme Work?
The 2024 Business Support - Grant Scheme is available to all rate payers subject to certain terms and conditions. In essence rate payers can avail of a grant averaging 8% to 11% of the value of their 2024 rates bill (excluding arrears) to a maximum value of €250. This means that in 2024 over 75% of rate payers in Carlow can make savings averaging 8% to 11%
Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions of the 2024 Business Support - Grant Scheme are straight forward. There are two payment options.
Option 1 – Full Payment
Pay your rates bill and arrears (if any) in full on or before 30th June 2024 and deduct the saving as set out in the chart.
Option 2 – Monthly Payment Plan
Pay your rates bill and arrears (if any) in full in six equal monthly instalments by Standing Order/Direct Debit or by other monthly arrangements before 30th September 2024 and deduct the saving as set out in the chart.
Please note – To avail of the 2024 Business Support - Grant Scheme customers must be in occupation of premises on January 1st, 2024.
See your 2024 Rates Bill for the € value range on the chart applicable to your account (e.g., If you 2024 Rates Bill (excluding arrears) is €2,600 you are in “Band F” and you can save €250.00.
